Outlook: Last week, Foran snapped an eight-game losing streak that stretched back to last season by topping Bassick. The Red Devils are riding a six-game losing streak into this one and are hoping to stop that skid. The Red Devils have put up some points this season, scoring 47 points in two games. Its young defense, though, has struggled and needs to step up against an opponent it could compete with.

Coach’s Comment: “Foran does a good job of playing to their strengths,” Stratford coach Jack Petion said. “They are coming off a big win last week over Bassick.  It’s nice that we don’t have to travel too far this week. They are a town next door so our kids are familiar with some of their players from multiple youth sports leagues. We are focused on ourselves and trying to improve each week. We have to do a better job of fighting through adversity. It will come down to our focus throughout the game and understanding what our jobs are on each play so that we can play fast and mistake-free. We have a couple of guys back in the lineup so I’m excited to see what they bring to the table.”
